Fish farms be aware – turning waste into food is easier than you think! In this episode of the Eph & Jeff show, Jeff hits the streets and interviews two different people at the Aquaculture America Conference in Seattle, February 10-12, 2014.
The first interview we feature is with the “father of aquaponics” Dr. James Rakocy. He worked at the University of Virgin Islands developing what is today considered the standard for aquaponics. He currently lives in Thailand and is publishing a book on aquaponics later this year. He can be found at theaquaponicsdoctors.com.
The second interview is with Meg Stout, current chairman for the Aquaponics Association, and author the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Aquaponic Gardening. She first got into aquaponics when she was figuring out how to produce food in a constrained space.
As a bonus, we are also offering an interview with Dr. George Brooks, Jr. for download.
